Extra Credit Post " Our Elders"

Well for this assignment i couldn't spend an hour with an elder over the age of 80 because my grandparents from my dads side live in Mexico and my grandparents from my moms side live in Las Vegas  so instead i decided to give my grandparents in Mexico. So i talked to my grandma for over an hour she was telling me stories about her childhood and just talking to me she was asking me how i was because i haven't seen her since i was in high school. So before we got off the phone i asked my grandma how she felt after talking to me and she told me that she was really happy and she enjoyed talking to me and then she started crying because thats how happy she was and surprised that i called which made me realize that i will defiantly be calling her and my grandpa more often from on now.

Blog Experience

Well lets see what can i say about this thing called blogging well at first me and this whole blog thing didn't get along it was really frustrating and it took me for ever to get the hang of it. but after i got the hang of it i kinda got into it because i got to write about some interesting things and i also got to read what people had to say and learn new things. Overall my experience was good i enjoyed it but it is something that i will probably never do again unless i have to do it for another class.

I liked the process of creating an account because i like learning new things and also i like the fact how other people can comment and let me know how they feel about the six-words i have used.

Marriage Experts

For this assignment I decided to talk to my uncle and his wife because they have been married for 25 years but technically have been together for 30 years. It was really complicated to get them to talk to me about their lives together and the problems that they have encountered together specially because i told them i would be writing about them but once i got them to talk i could not get them to stop.

The way i talked to uncle and aunt was simply i asked them some questions and then they would both reply what i though was really funny but also really cute was that they would both always answer my questions with the same answer like if they were one person.

1st Question. What has made your marriage last so long.

They both answered me by saying that the love they have for each other the trust and the commitment that they have for one another is the reason why they have made things work for such a long time.

2nd Question. What advice would you give someone to help their marriage work like yours.

This question was really funny because they both answered at the same exact time saying COMMUNICATION is the key to any relationship that is going to work.

3rd Question. What has been the hardest thing you guys have encountered together.
They both told me that the hardest thing was that early in their marriage things were not working out and they were going to get a divorce. so one day they sat down and they talked and they both came to the conclusion that they both didn't believe in divorce. They said that if they made things work once that they could make them work again and also they told me if we loved each other once we could defiantly love each other again.

4th Question. Any new challenges
and they both said NO AT THIS POINT WE KNOW WE ARE MAKING IT TO THE END TOGETHER.

After talking to my uncle and aunt i came to the conclusion that i am finally  A LOVE EXPERT

Stress Reduction

In my opinion stress is just part of our everyday life's you can choose to let stress control you or you can take matters into your own hands. Stress can come from many places for example, work, school and of course our personal life's. In my own life i personally never stress but when i do i have noticed that working out is the best way to release the stress. In my opinion working out early in the morning is the best because i feel like it relaxes me and it gives me a lot of energy for the rest of my day. I have also realized that i am a happier person throughout the day if i had exercised that morning. So next time you are stressing you should go out to the gym or just go out for a run and release that stress and i promise that you will feel good after and will have a whole lot of energy.

Kids Off Drugs

Drugs Drugs Drugs =  A BIG NO NO NO 

When i have Children of my own i will do everything in my power to make sure my children know how bad drugs are. I will use the same methods my parents use on me and my brothers while we were growing up. For example when we were in Elementary school we were all in the D.A.R.E program that really helped us understand that drugs were bad but more importantly because of D.A.R.E me and my brothers stayed away from drugs. Also my parents would talk to all of us and explain the harms and consequences. Then as we got older and started going to high school my parents knew we had friends that were doing drugs so my parents would use them as a example of my drugs are bad and why we shouldn't do them. I thank my parents for everything they did to keep us informed about the harms of drugs and i will use their methods to help my children understand also.

In my opinion this quiz was correct about me because i do love to spend time with the people i care about the most for example my friends. They are at my house 24/7 and it does not bug me at all i enjoy their company. All my friends like to call my house their home away from home because they know that they are always welcomed no matter what time of day or night it is.
